Kids can come and join us at the Centre for a week of Crafts, Games, Movies, and Fun!

Tuesday, August 4, 1pm-4pm

Wednesday, August 5, 1pm-4pm

Thursday, August 6, 1pm-4pm

Friday, August 7, 12pm-4pm

There will be drinks and snacks given Tuesday to Thursday.

Lunch will be given on Friday

Children need to be registered with Amanda by Tuesday, August 4 (11am). Please tell Amanda that your kids would like to come

Climb to the top of the Liftlocks to see how they work
Guided tour from the Liftlock's staff

Potluck Picnic at the Zoo - Friday, July 24








The New Canadians Centre would like to invite everyone to a Potluck Picnic at the Peterborough Zoo.

We will have outdoor games for the children, so make sure to bring the entire family.

Please join us to eat good food and to meet great people.
Everyone is welcome!

Potlucks are meals where everyone shares their homemade food. If possible please bring some cooked food (enough for 4-5 people) to share with the rest of the group. Example: rice dish, casserole, lasagna, fruit and desserts.


When: Friday, July 24
Time: 5:30pm - 8:30pm
Place: 1230 Water St. North (Peterborough), Shelter/Cabin #1 near the river. Park in the main parking lot on Water St., or take the bus to the main entrance of the zoo and follow the path near the main entrance down to the river.

Time: Leave New Canadians Centre at 9:30am
Return to New Canadians Centre at 6:00pm

Transportation: School Bus

Drinks on the bus will be provided by the New Canadians Centre. Please bring your own lunch and snacks to eat on the bus. It is not allowed to bring food or drinks into the stadium.

Cost: 23$ Adults

18$ (children under 13 years old)
