HOST Program

All of the event advertised on this page are facilitated under the HOST Program.
The Host Program helps newcomers adjust to life in Canada and learn about Canadian culture while building friendships and a stronger community. With the assistance of trained volunteers, the host program helps newcomers to integrate and feel at home in their new community.
If you are interested in getting involved with the Host Program as a volunteer or participant contact Steve at: steve@nccpeterborough.ca

The HOST program offers many windows of opportunity on how you can get involved. We hold social gatherings such as the Women's Group and Potluck dinners, as well as other social functions. You can pick up a calender of the activities we plan for the month at the front desk, view the calender under the events tab on the ncc website (http://www.nccpeterborough.ca/), or use this blog to get daily updates on what is going on.

The HOST program can also match a new Canadian, with a local volunteer to help you adjust to life here in Peterborough.
